CORPI

Questa collezione di terrecotte, refrattarie, immobili, dure e pesanti, rappresenta una serie di corpi umani, su cui poggiano piccoli vasi in vetro o in ceramica.

Si tratta di oggetti che si riferiscono a una antica idea, dove gli oggetti antropomorfi testimoniano che il corpo umano è all’origine di un mito a cui appartengono le cariatidi, i telamoni, le hermes; parti strutturali di un teorema costruttivo dove la presenza umana diventa una parte ibrida della costruzione.

Presenze ancora oggi inquietanti, dove l’universo degli oggetti torna a essere una popolazione “animista”, costituita da frammenti di narrazioni interrotte.

Questa collezione di “Corpi” è quindi costituita da “oggetti d’uso” ibridi, che lasciano aperta la loro interpretazione.     

 

BODIES

This collection of terrecotte, resistant, still, hard and heavy, represents a series of human bodies on which lay small pots made of glass or ceramic.

They are objects that go back to an ancient idea where anthropomorphic objects are the proof that the human body is originally a myth to which the cariatidi, the telamoni, the hermes belong; structural parts of a constructive theorem where human presence becomes a hybrid part of the construction.

They are still nowadays disturbing presences, where the universe of objects becomes again an animist population, formed of fragments of interrupted  stories.

This collection of "Bodies" is therefore made of hybrid  "objects of use" that leave their interpetation open.
